Spending time in large, midsize and start-up companies and focusing years working throughout Latin America, Ryan grew priceless connections and forged trusted relationships with like-minded people over multiple decades. After gaining experience both as a distributor and in corporate management, in 2006 he began to successfully launch and co-found his own companies. As co-founder and Vice President of Sales for Zrii, he helped lead the company in setting new industry records, generating more than $43 million in revenue in their first year. In 2009, he moved his team to LifeVantage (NASDAQ: LFVN), where they took the fledgling company out of Retail and re-launched it into Direct Selling, where he as the head of Sales, drove the growth of the company to a stunning $200 million in less than 5 years.

Finally, in 2017, Ryan once again went about creating a business of his own- one with the right science, but more importantly, reuniting with the right people. He partnered with David Brown, who he had experienced great success with during his time at LifeVantage and teamed up with some of his favorite and most trusted friends and colleagues to create something truly special. Sitting on park benches in various cities in Mexico, Ryan and these early partners spent a year developing unique concepts and innovating on more than 25 years of industry experience to come up with something that would represent a new way of approaching entrepreneurship and specifically a new way of approaching network marketing. Since its inception, ACTIVZ has beaten the odds and has succeeded in the face of significant opposition. And now Ryan is looking ahead, seeking to expand ACTIVZ outside of Latin America into new parts of the world and with their innovative Omnichannel approach to growth.

Looking back, Ryan’s desire to help people never changed, just his path to get there. As a network marketing visionary, innovative strategist, and advocate for each individual distributor, now with close to 30 years of experience Ryan is excited to continue to change the world, as he started out to do -- one entrepreneur at a time.

David entered the dietary supplement industry in 1994 when he became General Counsel for Natural Balance. He left the legal world for good when, two years later, he was named CEO of the company. In that role, he increased revenue by 500%, pioneering the company’s expansion of distribution from independent health food stores into the food, drug and mass markets. David then joined Metabolife International as CEO and led its transition from the direct selling channel into mass market retail, increasing revenue to over $500 million per year. David was next recruited to be the CEO of LifeVantage (NASDAQ: LFVN). There, he once again directed a move into an entirely different sales channel, this time from retail into direct sales. This resulted in historic growth, with sales growing from $3 million to over $200 million per year, within four years. The Company’s stock price increased dramatically as well, going from the pink sheets at $0.69 to being listed on NASDAQ and increasing in price to over $26.

In 2016, David re-joined Ryan Thompson, who had been integral to the success of LifeVantage, and other former colleagues to form Activz Global. They licensed unparalleled scientifically validated epigenetic products to provide a unique, omni-channel business opportunity for those wanting to “activate” their health at the genetic level and their finances at the personal and family level. Together, they assembled an Advisory Board of world-renowned scientists, researchers, and doctors, as well as eminent leaders in the business and military sectors.

Activz launched initially in Mexico and immediately achieved strong growth by attracting dynamic field leadership. While Mexico remains the Company’s largest market, other markets include Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Japan, and the US. Of note is the Company’s tremendous success in the US within the Spanish speaking demographic. The Company has achieved strong growth during every year of its existence and is looking forward to continued growth in existing and new markets.

While David regards Activz as both his vocation and avocation, he doesn’t spend all his free time there. He married way over his head and has four children and five grandchildren. He enjoys all sports, likes to run and work out, and is an avid reader. He is active in Church and community activities and tries his best to exemplify what it means to be “Activz”.
